Peoria, IL -- (Sports Network) - Frank Hassell scored 18 points and pulled down 15 rebounds, as Old Dominion outlasted Bradley, 66-62, in the championship game of the inaugural CollegeInsider.com Tournament.

Marsharee Neely had 16 points with seven boards for the Monarchs (25-10), who gutted out the win in front of a partisan crowd at Carver Arena. Gerald Lee added 13 points and six rebounds for Old Dominion, which shot 42.2 percent from the floor.

Chris Roberts poured in 15 points to pace the Braves (21-15), while Sam Maniscalco finished with 12 points, five rebounds and five assists.

Sam Singh nailed a jumper from the left elbow to pull Bradley within two at 57-55 with about 1 1/2 minutes to go in regulation. After a goaltending call awarded Old Dominion two points, Hassell and Neely both made 1-of-2 at the charity stripe to stretch the lead to six with 34.5 seconds left.

Roberts knocked down a jumper before Neely sank a pair at the foul line. The Monarchs looked to cut the deficit in half, but Eddren McCain's three-point bid was off the mark and Neely cemented the victory with a breakaway dunk.

Bradley stormed out of the gate, scoring 13 of the game's first 17 points. The Monarchs, however, made some adjustments and turned up the pressure defensively, ultimately grabbing a 26-24 lead on a Hassell tip-in with about 3 1/2 minutes to go in the first half. The clubs went into the break deadlocked at 28.

Lee hit a jumper and Darius James buried a three-pointer from the right wing to open the second half for Old Dominion, but the Braves responded with a 6-0 surge, which Roberts finished off with an emphatic alley-oop slam.

The Monarchs then took control of the game with a 15-3 run, but Bradley netted six consecutive points to close the gap to 48-43 with about eight minutes remaining.

Theron Wilson donated 11 points and nine rebounds for Bradley, which shot 42.4 percent...The Braves made just 4-of-22 from three-point range...Bradley won the only previous meeting against Old Dominion, claiming a 79-75 victory in the second round of the 1994 NIT.
