Charleston, SC -- (Sports Network) - Trevor Booker racked up 15 points and 16 rebounds to lead the Clemson Tigers to a 76-72 triumph in the championship game of the inaugural Charleston Classic. Terrence Oglesby scored 16 points for Clemson (3-0), which got 12 points from KC Rivers and 10 points from Raymond Sykes. Ryan Brooks netted 19 points in the disappointing setback for Temple (2-1). Both Lavoy Allen and Dionte Christmas scored 14 points for the Owls, who got 13 points from Ramone Moore. Clemson led 45-39 at intermission after hitting 9-of-17 three-pointers in the first half. The Tigers missed all six of their shots from behind the arc in the second half, but they limited the Owls to 31.4 percent shooting from the floor over the final 20 minutes. A 41-26 rebounding advantage played a major role in the win for Clemson.
