Eugene, OR -- (Sports Network) - LeGarrette Blount ran three yards for a touchdown with six seconds left, as the Oregon Ducks pulled out a 35-28 victory over the Stanford Cardinal in a Pac-10 thriller at Autzen Stadium. Blount finished the game with 90 yards on the ground and two touchdowns, while Jeremiah Johnson led the way for Oregon (7-3, 5-3 Pac-10) with 135 yards and a score. Signal-caller Jeremiah Masoli threw for 144 yards and a score in the win and he also added 46 yards on the ground. Anthony Kimble tallied 106 yards and a touchdown on 24 carries to lead Stanford (5-5, 4-3) in the losing effort. Tavita Pritchard threw for 138 yards and score and also posted 42 rushing yards in the losing effort. A 37-yard field goal from Morgan Flint gave the Ducks a 3-0 lead early in the first period of play. The Ducks took a 10-0 lead just minutes later, as Masoli completed a five-yard strike to Jeffrey Maehl. Stanford got on the board midway through the period with an Aaron Zagory 39- yard kick. Johnson gave Oregon a 21-3 lead late in the frame following a 41-yard run. The Cardinal found the end zone early in the second quarter with a five-yard toss from Pritchard to Josh Catron. An eight-yard run from Bo McNally tied the contest at 17 just minutes later. The Ducks reclaimed the lead with under a minute remaining in the half on a 26-yard Morgan Flint field goal. Stanford knotted things up again early in the third quarter with a 20-yard field goal from Zagory. Blount gave the Ducks a 27-20 lead midway through the period following a 38- yard scamper. The Cardinal added a safety on a team rush early in the final period of play to pull to within five. A three-yard run from Kimble late in the frame gave the Cardinal a 28-27 lead. The two-point conversion attempt failed. The Ducks would escape with the win, however, as Blount found the end zone following a three-yard run with just six seconds remaining. Blount also ran for a successful conversion, accounting for the final score, 35-28. Oregon rolled up 307 yards on the ground in the game and averaged 7.5 yards per carry.
