Bulls Resume Trek At Portland
(Sports Network) - The Chicago Bulls continue a torturous seven-game road swing Wednesday when they face the Portland Trail Blazers at the Rose Garden.The Bulls fell to 0-4 away from home this season when Los Angeles' Pau Gasol scored a season-high 34 points as the Lakers bounced back from their first loss of the season with a 116-109 win over Chicago on Tuesday. Rookie star Derrick Rose had 25 points and nine assists, and Ben Gordon ended with 23 points, but went just 6-of-22 from the field for the Bulls. The Blazers, meanwhile, are a perfect 3-0 at the Rose Garden, but fell in Oakland Tuesday when undrafted rookie Anthony Morrow scored 25 points, including the three game-clinching free throws in the final seconds, to give the Golden State Warriors a 111-106 victory over Portland. Greg Oden poured in a career-high 22 points and 10 grabbed boards for the Blazers, who have dropped two of three. Brandon Roy totaled 22 points and nine assists, while Travis Outlaw and Rudy Fernandez had 13 points and seven rebounds apiece. On the injury front, Bulls star forward Luol Deng is questionable for tonight's game with a sore left groin. Portland has won two straight over the Bulls after losing the previous three meetings with Chicago. The Bulls have dropped seven of nine in Portland.
