Green Bay, WI -- (Sports Network) - The Green Bay Packers have placed offensive lineman Jason Spitz on injured reserve and signed wide receiver Biren Ealy from the practice squad Saturday.

Spitz played in five games, including four starts, this season, but is out with lower back spasms.

Ealy appeared in four games with the Tennessee Titans in 2007 and spent the 2008 season on the Titans' practice squad.
