NHL Game Summary - Chicago At Minnesota

(Sports Network) - Stephane Veilleux scored the equalizing goal in the third period and then the game-winner with 24 seconds left in overtime, as Minnesota upended Chicago, 3-2, in preseason action.

Colton Gillies also tallied for the Wild, while Niklas Backstrom stopped 33- of-35 shots.

Brent Seabrook and Patrick Kane each scored for the Blackhawks, with Kane also adding an assist. Corey Crawford allowed all three goals on 22 shots faced for Chicago.

Coming off a career-worst performance in his last outing, Niklas Backstrom turned aside all 22 shots he faced to record his third shutout of the season, as the Minnesota Wild blanked the St. Louis Blues, 4-0, at the Xcel Energy Center.
