    We asked you to share your dieting success stories with us. Today's group of stories comes from various people who swear by the Atkins Diet.

    Ana Maria of Orlando, FL shared her Success Story on the Atkins Diet.

    "I have lost 45lbs. since December on the Atkins Diet. I have cheated on this diet 30% of the time since I have started it. I am slowly trying to do any type of exercise program (very slowly) and over all the best habit I have managed is that I am drinking more water. All things considered I am glad the diet works some what since the discipline of not cheating is really not my strong suit YET. I started at 250lbs. "

    Jan of Mesquite, TX shared her Success Story on the Atkins Diet.

    "With the Atkins plan, I lost 24 pounds in six months; my body fat went from 60% to 47%. Blood pressure went down, cholesterol and triglycerides back into the normal range, gastric reflux improved to the point that Rx med was reduced 75%. I plan to eat low carb the rest of my life."

    Judi of Melbourne, FL shared her success Story on the Atkins Diet.

    "Almost 2 years ago, my husband and I began the Atkins Diet. We each lost 35 lbs. and felt wonderful. Recently, we've each put back on about 10 lbs. because we went off the diet. We're now back to our same old symptoms of gaining weight, feeling lethargic and bloated, feeling constant food cravings. We're going back on the diet! It really does work and, for us, it really does make us feel better and more energetic. In addition, I had my blood tested as Dr. Atkins suggests, before and after starting the diet. My cholesterol and triglycerides decreased while on the diet. We do feel that it is very important to take the nutritional supplements Dr. Atkins suggests while on the diet. "

    "Twenty five years ago I lost 150lbs. on the Atkins diet, never was hungry and experienced high levels of energy, but I did take vitamins also. From time to time I'll gain 20 or 30 lbs. and I just go into what I call the Atkins mode."

    "I started the Atkins diet on October 23, 2000. I weighed 175 1/2 pounds and had a waistline of 38 1/2 inches. As of today (cheating occasionally) I weigh 144 and my waist is measuring 31 inches!!!!! I went from a tight size 18 pair of jeans to a 10/12. I am a new me with a tremendous new self-esteem and rarely get sick anymore. My blood work says my cholesterol numbers are better than good. I am elated at my continuing success."
