(Sports Network) - The New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets aim for their fifth consecutive home victory this evening when the Minnesota Timberwolves pay a visit to the Ford Center.

The Hornets have won all four of their home games so far this season, the last three of which have been contested at the Ford Center. The franchise hasn't started 5-0 at home since it ripped off 11 in a row to open the 2002-03 campaign.

The team comes in on a down note, however, as the Hornets dropped a 92-83 decision at Phoenix on Wednesday.

Peja Stojakovic and Desmond Mason both notched 21 points and four rebounds for the Hornets, who had a four-game winning streak halted. Chris Paul netted 18 points and Tyson Chandler contributed 16 rebounds in the setback.

The Hornets hit on just 1-of-14 three-point shots for the game, one night after the club shot 11-of-19 from beyond the arc in Tuesday's 101-86 victory over Miami.

Minnesota, which will try to end a four-game losing streak tonight, enters off an impressive 107-87 triumph over the Knicks Wednesday at the Target Center. Ricky Davis led the way with a 21-point, seven-assist performance.

Kevin Garnett tallied 19 points and nine boards for the Timberwolves, who snapped an overall two-game skid. Mark Blount and Mike James added 17 and 16 points, respectively, to the winning effort.

These two teams faced one another Saturday in Minnesota, with the Hornets coming away with a 99-96 win on a Stojakovic three-pointer with less than a second left. Paul led all players with 35 points.

The Hornets have won three of their four most recent matchups with the T- Wolves, including an 84-80 win at the Ford Center last season.
