NCAA Game Summary - Austin Peay At Bradley

(Sports Network) - Theron Wilson scored 18 points and collected eight rebounds to lead the Bradley Braves to an 81-74 victory over the Austin Peay Governors in first-round action of the CollegeInsider.com Tournament at Carver Arena.

Sam Maniscalco added 15 points in the win for Bradley (19-14), while Eddren McCain tallied 13 points to go with five rebounds and five assists. Chris Roberts chipped in 12 points as well for the Braves.

Drake Reed posted a game-high 24 points and hauled in 11 rebounds to lead the way for Austin Peay (19-14), while the trio of Anthony Campbell, Wes Channels and Kyle Duncan notched 11 points apiece in the losing effort.

The Braves hit 53.8 percent from the floor, including a blazing 7-of-12 from beyond the arc, during the first period of play to open a 40-36 halftime lead.

The Governors battled back in the second stanza with a 52.9 percent effort from the field, but the Braves added a 19-of-29 effort from the charity stripe over the final 20 minutes to hold on for the seven-point win.
