Chicago, IL -- (Sports Network) - Derrek Lee hit a two-run homer and knocked in three, as the Chicago Cubs cruised past the Milwaukee Brewers, 8-2, in the finale of a four-game set at Wrigley Field.

Jake Fox also belted a two-run shot, while Kosuke Fukudome went 2-for-4 with a triple, an RBI and two runs scored for the Cubs, who took three of four in the series and have won five of seven overall.

Ted Lilly (8-6), who was named to the National League All-Star squad earlier on Sunday, picked up the win. The veteran lefty went 6 1/3 innings and gave up two runs on nine hits and fanned nine.

"We pitched well. Lilly won his eighth ball game and Derrek Lee gets us going there in the first inning with a two-run homer and then we add runs," Cubs manager Lou Piniella said. "Fox, Fukudome, (Mike) Fontenot had a nice day with the bat. It was a ball game all the way around for us."

Prince Fielder, who also received NL All-Star honors, had a pair of hits, including a solo homer, for Milwaukee, which has dropped four of its last five.

Mike Burns (1-2) was handed the loss after getting raked for nine hits and seven runs. He struck out three and walked one in 4 2/3 innings.

"Prince has pretty much carried this team, he and (Ryan) Braun offensively. We're hoping that we get a little more improvement from the rest of the guys as the season goes on," Brewers manager Ken Macha said.

Lee's two-run homer into the left-field bleachers in the first gave the Cubs the early advantage. Fielder's solo homer to center in the fourth got the Brewers on the board.

The Cubs tacked on a pair in the fourth to grab a 4-1 lead. Geovany Soto's sacrifice fly brought in Milton Bradley, who led off the inning with a walk. Mike Fontenot followed by serving an RBI single to center to score Fox, who had doubled.

Chicago continued to pour it on in the fifth, when Lee's RBI base hit and Fox's two-run homer to left put the hosts up, 7-1. Casey McGehee got one back for Milwaukee in the top of the sixth with an RBI single, but Fukudome's sac fly in the home half put the Cubs ahead, 8-2.

Aaron Heilman and Carlos Marmol combined to throw 2 2/3 scoreless innings of relief the rest of the way.
