(Sports Network) - Minnesota Lynx forward Seimone Augustus underwent successful surgery Tuesday to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament in her left knee.

Augustus was injured on June 17 against Phoenix and will miss the rest of the season.

Augustus has averaged 21.2 points and 3.9 rebounds in 105 career games with the Lynx, who selected the LSU standout first overall in 2006.
